”To achieve sustainability we are going to invest into optimizing our factories to be utilize power more efficiently.
Concept Eyewear
Solar Power
To achieve long-term sustainability, Concept Eyewear is investing in factory-level energy optimization across our OEM/ODM operations in Asia. Our 2026 target is a 12% reduction in CO₂ emissions versus our 2025 baseline, driven by measurable upgrades in power efficiency, renewable energy adoption, and process improvements.
Concept Eyewear has been working to reduce power consumption and “go green” since December 2018. We are now investing in renewable energy by installing solar panels on our factory rooftops to power our operations.
This solar initiative will:
Generate clean, on‑site electricity for our manufacturing lines
Reduce reliance on grid power and associated CO₂ emissions
Support our customers’ sustainability goals and responsible sourcing requirements
Through these measures, we are building a lower‑carbon, more resilient supply chain for eyewear manufacturing in Asia.

Solar Panel Installation
Solar Power in Vietnam
Concept Eyewear has started installing solar panels at our factory compound in Vietnam. This is the first phase of a multi‑year program to scale on‑site renewable energy across our operations.
Our target is to expand solar generation over the coming years until the electricity used by our staff is fully covered by renewable sources, making this portion of our operations carbon neutral.
This initiative complements our broader efforts to reduce energy use, lower CO₂ emissions, and offer more sustainable eyewear manufacturing to our global customers.
Solar Panel Installation
Solar Power in China
Concept Eyewear has launched a new initiative to reduce the carbon footprint of our operations in China. We are installing solar panels on residential buildings and our factory buildings in the local area.
When fully operational, this solar system will provide around 30 kWh per day to our facilities, helping to offset grid electricity and lower our CO₂ emissions.
This project extends our renewable energy program—alongside our solar rollout in Vietnam—and supports our long‑term goal of more sustainable eyewear manufacturing across Asia.
